I enjoy golf, bridge, and many outdoor activities such as hiking, bicycling and camping. Lucky for me, Cyndi shares most of those avocations (except for golf!). We love to travel and plan to do much more in the next few years. Our son, Tom, lived quite some time in Missoula, Montana; he attended college there and stayed awhile. He then moved out to Washington D.C. and then on to State College, Pennsylvania where he and his friend Deb work at Penn State University. Our daughter Lisa graduated from Albany Law School, which she started right after graduation from the University of New Hampshire. Here she is:

Lisa now is back in Minnesota. She helps Cyndi run her thriving business, Wyndmere Naturals. Lisa was married in 2015 to Ross Rabens - see my post about their wedding, with many photos. Just a few months ago they gave us our first grandchild - Anelia (Nel) Rabens, 10/5/17.
Whether Tom and Lisa are here or miles away, they are nearby in our hearts always.
Cyndi is a founder, owner and CEO of Wyndmere Naturals, Inc. Her business produces and distributes an extensive line of essential oils and related products. Check out Wyndmere's web site, see the Links section. And by all means, try some Wyndmere products!
We had two Sheltie dogs - Zoey and Monte - and help out the Minnesota Sheltie Rescue by taking in foster dogs from time to time. So, often we had three! Zoey and I used to train in Dog Agility and we have entered many agility trials; Zoey has earned her MX and MXJ titles in the top class (Excellent). We have become inactive in that sport. Sadly, Monte recently passed away at 16 years of age. Zoey
just passed away in January, 2022, also at age 16. We miss them both!

I was inspired to create this blog by my trip to American Samoa in November 2010. I worked there for 6 months as a public defender. Cyndi joined me after New Year's. See my postings from American Samoa, with pictures and descriptions of life on that small, beautiful and very far away island. I am adding new postings of our travels every year.
